The overlay layer has good impact resistance, wear resistance and good abrasive wear performance but is not suitable for severe impact or collision wear conditions. Maximum number of overlay layers: 2 layers, maximum overlay thickness: 6mm. Depending on the material of the workpiece or specific usage conditions, sometimes consideration should be given to the overlay transition layer.
